We work with individuals who are incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, justice-impacted, refugees, or those reentering the workforce after long absences. Whether someone is navigating reentry, recovery, or major life transition, we meet them with dignity and possibility. Through transformative courses, experiential workshops, and individualized coaching, we support the development of self-leadership, emotional intelligence, communication, and other essential skills that build a strong, grounded sense of identity and leadership.

With a decades-long career leading large, mission-driven nonprofit organizations, Steve Weiss brings deep experience in vision, strategy, team development, and relationship-building across all levels—members, leaders, boards, staff, donors, political leaders, and community coalitions. His leadership has spanned advocacy, cross-cultural bridge-building, and community-based organizing, always rooted in strong values and a commitment to transformation.
Now the founder of Resurgence Leadership and a credentialed coach with the International Coaching Federation, Steve works with individuals and organizations seeking growth, clarity, and authentic leadership. Having also navigated the challenges of incarceration and reentry firsthand, he brings empathy, trust, and lived insight to those rebuilding their lives or careers—offering guidance that is both practical and deeply human.
